One account, two ways to sign in

You can use gobotAi without creating a password. That does not mean signing in without verification: email-code sign-in checks access to your inbox. If you prefer, you can create a password later and use it for future sign-ins.

Your account journey — illustrated overview
  1. Create your accountEnter your email and review the signup terms.
  2. Verify your emailEnter the six-digit code sent to your inbox.
  3. Set up your businessReview business details, services and receptionist choices.
  4. Come back your wayUse an email code, or a password you have created.

1. Start with an email you can access

Choose Start Free and enter your email address carefully. Read the Terms of service and Privacy Notice before accepting the required signup agreement. Optional product-news preferences are a separate choice.

If you already have an account, use Sign in instead of starting another trial. Keep access to your email account: it is used for verification and account recovery.

2. Enter your signup verification code

Open the verification email and enter its six-digit code in the signup page. Check your junk folder if the message is missing. Use the code for the request you are completing and never share it with someone offering to sign in for you.

If the code is rejected, check that the email address is correct and follow the page’s option to request another code. Avoid repeated requests in quick succession. Creating a password later does not remove this initial email-verification step.

3. Review the business information

Follow the business lookup and information steps shown in your account. Where website or business-profile import is offered, treat the imported information as a draft: check the selected business, address, opening hours, services and answers before confirming.

If a website cannot be read, use an alternative supported by the setup screen. A trial-eligibility message needs to be resolved for the correct business; do not create duplicate business records to work around it. Accounts already in progress may show a different sequence of setup screens.

4. Configure and test your receptionist

Review the available language, voice and personality choices, then follow the trial-number and first-call instructions. Make the test call yourself and check the result before relying on the receptionist for customer calls. The website’s recordings are examples, not a test of your own configuration.

The trial is capped. Read the current allowance, temporary-number conditions and remaining setup requirements in the app. See the preparation checklist and our services and VAT guide for what to have ready.

5. Sign in again without a password

On the sign-in page, choose Sign in with an email code instead. Enter your registered email, select Send me a code, then enter the six-digit sign-in code and choose Sign in.

If no email arrives, check your inbox and junk folder and wait a minute before using Change email or request a new code. This is a new sign-in code, not the original signup code.

6. Create a password if you prefer

In your account’s security settings, the Password section offers Create a password when you do not have one. This sends a link to your account email so you can choose a password. Follow the password requirements displayed on that page.

Saving the new password signs you out on all devices. You can then sign in with your email and password; email-code sign-in remains available. A password is optional, not a requirement for using the code-based sign-in method.

7. Recover access and handle extra security checks

If you have forgotten your password, use Forgot password? on the sign-in page and follow the email reset link. Choose a unique password and keep it in a trusted password manager.

If you have enabled two-factor authentication, you may also be asked for a code from your authenticator app or a recovery code. This is separate from the email code. Neither choosing password sign-in nor choosing email-code sign-in bypasses that extra check.

A quick troubleshooting checklist

  • No email? Check the spelling, inbox and junk folder, then wait before requesting again.
  • Code not accepted? Check you are completing the matching signup or sign-in request.
  • Too many attempts? Respect the displayed wait period instead of repeatedly submitting.
  • Setup resumes where you left off? Continue the remaining steps in that account; do not create another account to reset progress.
  • Still stuck? Contact gobotAi with the page and error message. Never include a password, verification code or recovery code.

Hear the examples. Then try gobotAi for your business.
